Double layer capacitors are made of two electrodes and one separator soaked in an electrolyte. A full description of the technology is given in the "DESIGN" section.
Double layer capacitor is a component for the power electronic which exhibits special properties. The capacitance, as well as the series resistance, are function of the applied voltage, the environmental temperature, the polarization history, etc. A description of its behavior is given in the "PROPERTIES" section and the measurement techniques in the "METROLOGY" section.
